Although a Boulder native, Emily Kuchenrither spent many years in the suburbs of Kansas City where she was inspired to fight the spread of tract home development and big box construction across America. This eventually led her to study architecture at Rice University in Houston, Texas and the Institutto di Architeture in Vico Morcote, Switzerland.
After receiving her Bachelor of Architecture in 2002, Emily spent the following years working for other notable architecture/design firms in New York City and has recently retuned to Boulder, eager for fresh air, peace and quiet.
Emily’s experience is primarily with residential projects and has guided many clients through the design process, from initial concept sketches to final move-in day. Her Manhattan experience, which included private yachts, townhomes, apartments and hotels, has given her a unique aesthetic and skill set, particularly with the interior side of architectural design.
