This major renovation and remodel transformed a modest, one-story suburban ranch-style property into a gracious two-story country home. The original living room and kitchen on the first floor were completely remodeled. A new, second story was added to include three bedrooms, two baths and two additional rooms designed specifically to accommodate the changing needs of the owners' growing children. These rooms separate the children’s work and play areas and provide cozy bay-window seats for curling up and reading on a rainy day. Major design elements which add to the home’s country style are a two-story turret and covered porch, classic double-hung and mullioned windows, deep overhangs, and wood shingle siding.
