MAPLETON HILL RESIDENCE

This single-family, two-story residence with a walk-out basement is located in the historic Mapleton Hill district that lies directly north of downtown Boulder. The contemporary renovation, which included carving out a new recreation room in the attic and finishing the basement, had to follow strict historic guidelines that govern the choice of exterior materials and colors. Unique design touches include a modern kitchen with concrete countertops and an open-riser stair framed with a custom steel railing design..
